Carbon Credits Take Root on Canadian Farms

From The Subsurface Solution to The Science of Certainty, we’ve been exploring how Soileos delivers the results required for confronting the biggest issues in Agriculture. Now, together with growers from across Canada, we are showing how implementing Soileos and its Carbon Credit Pilot Program can make a difference on real farm acres, from yield and climate health to on-farm revenue.

Growing the Opportunity

Our 2026 Carbon Pilot offers an additional revenue stream to growers: use Soileos and farm carbon alongside your crops. Across Western Canada, we have enrolled a pilot group of growers using Soileos on 3,700 acres into our program. This diverse set of growers believe in the benefits of Soileos, and understand how these small changes they make on their farm can have a large impact on their legacy.

The program recognizes that growers are farming more than just food. Participating in the Pilot Program opens a new revenue stream to farmers, allowing them to increase crop yields, support climate health and earn a greater ROI. At a projected return ranging from $10 to $25 per acre, the carbon credits generated can partially, or in some cases, completely, offset the initial purchase price of the fertilizer, without even considering the increased yield potential and lasting effects of Soileos nutrition.

Creating Momentum

The 2026 Carbon Pilot isn’t just a success story; it’s a market movement. The industry has signaled its trust in circular, science-backed infrastructure that powers soil health and rejuvenation at the field level. This trust is built on three pillars:

  1. Certainty: Data-backed validation that the carbon sequestered is real and verifiable.
  2. Simplicity: Integration into existing farming practices without requiring a total overhaul of equipment or timing.
  3. Circular Economy: Utilizing cellulose-based delivery systems that return nutrients to the soil in a way that mimics nature.

Looking Ahead

As we track the progress of these acres throughout the season and approach harvest, we are witnessing a shift in the standard of Canadian agriculture. We are proving that innovation isn't just a conceptual goal—it is the very infrastructure upon which the next generation of profitable, climate-smart farming is being built. By turning soil health into a tangible asset, we aren’t just looking at the future; we’re growing it
